Police have arrested SHO Rana Ilyas, the main accused of Sialkot lynching of two innocent brothers, on Friday, Dunya News reported. Rs 2 lac bounty was fixed on head of the SHO. The barbaric incident of Sialkot lynching was occurred in the presence SHO Rana Ilyas. Footage made by Dunya News reported has exposed the brutality of killers and police. When the Supreme Court took the suo moto notice of the incident on August 20, SHO Rana Ilyas was arrested but he along with four policemen fled after two days. In its second hearing of the case, the SC ordered to arrest the culprit and present him before the court on September 6. Rana Ilyas was reportedly fled to Sargodha and then he reached Narowal. Police raided Narowal but the SHO escaped. In the meantime, 37 relatives of SHO Rana Ilyas were taken into custody by the police. Then, news about his escape to Iran was surfaced. But he along with constable Mubarak arrested from Salanwali area of Sargodha. According to police, he was traced by his mobile phone. He will be produced before the court in the next hearing.
