Permanent Representative of Pakistan to the United Nations, Abdullah Hussain Haroon has demanded investigation into dykes breaches which were allegedly made on political basis to save the lands of influentials. Talking in Dunya News programme Dunya Mere Aagay, Haroon said that when Tori Bund was broken, the government had told that it was not repaired from last 15 years, so for it was itself ruined. he said that he had visited Sukkr and Jacobabad where people told him that Tori Bund was broken deliberately, so investigation should be launched into the matter. He said that truth should be made public. He said that bunds and dykes were broken by design.
