Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani said that more than 20 million people have been affected from flood. While addressing the nation on radio the prime minister said that this was the largest migration since Independence. He said that more than 79 districts have been affected and country has suffered losses up to $ 6-7 billion due to flood. He said that 30 percent of agricultural land has been affected by flood. People from all aspects of life were united in these testing times, he added. The prime minster said that international community role was very commendable in flood recovery. I have visited the affected areas to access the damages incurred to people, he said.
