Low level flood at Kotri barrage

The River Indus is flowing in low flood at Kotri Barrage on Tuesday and water has started to enter into villages situated near bank of the river as peoples evacuation from Latif Abad and Hussain Abad has been started. According to latest reports, 131,200 cusecs water is passing thourgh the barrage. Locals are being shifted to safe places but others are refusing to leave their homes. They are of the view that they will not leave their houses till alternative house are provided to them. Water level is increasing with the passage of time and water is heading towards fields of cotton. Cotton of worth millions of rupees might be damaged.
