Land mafia, drug mafia should be arrested: Shahi Syed

ANP leader Shahi Syed said that land mafia and drug mafia should be arrested. He said that no one can prove that he telephoned any official for the release of any person of land mafia. Talking to Dunya News, he said that the matter will not be resolved with figure pointing and blame game, institutions should be given powers and all culprits behind these heinous crimes should be arrested. He said that these people were talking about peace but more than 40 people have been killed till now. Target killing incidents have been taking place from two years but the government became a silent spectator, he said adding that the government should act independently. On this, MQM leader Wasim Akhtar told Dunya News that ANP was destroying the peace of Karachi and it is not a political party but it is a band of terrorists who wants to mint money. He said that this party has failed to restore peace in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He said that Shahi Syed threatened to kill Raza Syed. He said that agencies knew about this threat.
