Summary Advisor to PM, Amir Muqam, says Imran Khan directed attacks on government property

PESHAWAR: (Dunya News) – Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhawa (KP) Pervaiz Khattak has on Thursday said that the officials of the Ministry of Water and Power, and Wapda are involved in power theft. Responding to his accusation, Advisor to Prime Minister, Engineer Amir Muqam, said that attacks on government property were directed by Chairman PTI Imran Khan, reported Dunya News.

As the temperature is rising in the country, CM Khattak also got heated up while briefing the media and accused the officials of Water and Power Ministry and Wapda of power theft. “Federal government should arrest its officials involved in power theft”, he added.

Opposition members also bitterly criticized the federal government during the parliamentary leaders’ meeting presided over by CM Khattak.

On the other hand, Amir Muqam also seemed quite angry while alleging Imran Khan of directing attacks on government property.

A committee was also formed during the meeting of the parliamentary leader. This committee will formulate recommendations regarding energy crisis and present the draft to CM Khattak. Opposition leader Maulana Atta-ur-Rehman and Awami National Party (ANP) leaders remained absent from the meeting.
