Summary PTI and PML-N are main parties competing in Lahore Cantonment and Walton Cantonment Board
LAHORE (Daily Dunya) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Muslim League-N (PML-N) are the prominent opponents competing in Lahore Cantonment and Walton Cantonment Board. Both of the parties have made their own policies to win the election. There were a whole of 40 public gatherings and 25 rallies in Lahore cantonment and Walton Cantonment Board’s 20 wards on Tuesday while many corner meetings were also held.
PTI is once again actively persuading their voters from 20 wards of Walton Cantonment Board to come out of their homes and vote for PTI. PML-N is also contacting their voters on a personal level while Jamaat Islami (JI) is reaching out to the voters by door-to-door campaign. Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) is also actively campaigning for its candidates.
Candidates have arranged vehicles to take voters to the polling stations on election day. In all the wards of Cantonment, voters have decorated their areas with flexes and banners of their candidates while pamphlets are also being distributed.
