Punjab government has abolished tax on luxury vehicles in pro-poor budget. Punjab Assembly has approved 43 money demands of Rs 583 billion in the presence of opposition parties. However, 7 moves of cut could not be discussed due to opposition boycott. Finance Minister Tanveer Ashraf Kaira announced that it is decided to abolish the tax on luxury vehicles. He said that district development committees would be set up for development project in south Punjab. He said that CM Secretariat expenses have been curtailed up to 28 percent.
