Fake degree:SC dismisses PML-N MPA Rizwan Gills plea

The Supreme Court has dismissed the appeal filled by PML-Ns MPA Rizwan Gill against his disqualification from contesting polls for having fake BA degree. A three-member bench, including Chief Justice Iftikahr Mohammed Chaudhry, conducted hearing on the case filed by PML-Ns former MPA on PP-34 from Sargodha. The petitioner, in his appeal, challenged Lahore High Court (LHC)s verdict, which pronounced Rizwan Gil disqualified from partaking election on holding a fake bachelors degree. SC also imposed fine on Rizwan.
