Summary Pro-PTI tweets appeared to be buried amid massive criticism
LAHORE (Web Desk) – The supporters and criticizers of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan took to Twitter on Wednesday to express themselves after bereaved families of Peshawar massacre victims lashed out at Imran Khan and his newly wedded wife Reham Khan. There were mixed reactions as both hashtags #GoImranGo and #APSLovesKhanSahb trended simultaneously.
Tweeps reacted by pointing out that ‘go Imran go’ is voice of bereaved families.

There were echoes questioning PTI s ability to run the province
If you cant defend your own territory, how the hell can you long for prime minister s seat? #GoImranGo
— Nabeha (@Nabehal) January 14, 2015
Criticizers lamented at PTI supporters terming the whole incident a conspiracy against PTI
We should thank Mushtaq Ghani , he could say India / Israel / US behind #GoImranGo at " Hard Opening" of #APS .

If today #GoImranGo slogans in peshawar were planted than all slogans against Nawaz n Shahbaz Sharif were planted as well #pti #pmln

Today I am not anti -Imran but pro- parents. Simple #GoImranGo

There were tweets paying tributes to the bereaved parents for saying what needed to be said
Salute to the mother who grabbed #IK s collar when he started delivering usual Rhetoric, lies n promises #GoImranGo pic.twitter.com/gpM2aaFeoQ
— Nida Qureshi (@q_nida) January 14, 2015
Then came the heavy Twitter-force of PTI supporters who felt the need to counter sentiments of bereaved parents by starting a fresh trending topic i.e. #APSLovesKhanSahb
There were tweeps trying to discredit today s incident by implying bereaved parents support Khan

Some even blamed the media outright
No lifafa channel courage this...especially Geo...#APSLovesKhanSahb #WhereIsNawazSharif and their lifafa journalist pic.twitter.com/zoqYL95xGE

Then there were those PTI supporters including Imran Khan s own nephew who admitted students chanted slogans against his leader
Students chanting go imran go at APS peshawar today. Chairman happy and excited after their chants. #APSLovesKhanSahb pic.twitter.com/sJoL3pwrYR
— Hassan Niazi (@HniaziISF) January 14, 2015
However, PTI supporters responses seem to be lost amid the heavy criticism as skeptics lamented at PTI supporters for starting a trend only to counter bereaved parents who have already been through enough.
#APSLovesKhanSahb? Sure, because a hashtag mostly trended by non-APS affectees said so.
— Imaan Sheikh (@SheikhImaan) January 14, 2015 It takes a lot of shamelessness to make trends like #APSLovesKhanSahb But that s what his follower #Youthias are known for.

Seeing their tweets buried amid the #GoImranGo tweets, PTI supporters resorted to pointing fingers at political archrival Pakistan Muslim League -Nawaz (PML-N) and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif as trend #WhereIsNawazSharif emerged.
#WhereIsNawazSharif ?
In Raiwind,
Eating nihaari,
Listening to non-sense of @MaryamNSharif
