Summary Ten identical petitions were filed against the Sindh Local Government bill in SHC.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Sindh High Court on Monday declared amendments in Sindh Local Government act as illegal and unconstitutional.
The verdict was announced by division bench comprising Justice Sajjad Ali Shah and Justice Farooq.
MQM‚ PML-N‚ PML-F and others had challenged the delimitations in the province made under the amended Sindh Local Government Act-2013.
Meanwhile, the Sindh government has decided to challenged the verdict in Supreme Court.
