Summary Most parts of Punjab remained under blanket of fog during the past 24 hours.
Weather remained cold and dry in most parts of the country while foggy conditions prevailed in plain areas of Punjab.
The Grand Trunk Road (GT Road) from Rawalpindi to Kharian remaind under dense fog. Met office has predicted that cold wave will prevail in Lahore, Gujranwal, Faisalabad and Sahiwal divisions during next few days.
Met office sources said that weather will remain cold and dry in the next 12 hours in most parts of the country while parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan and southern parts of Balochistan will remain in grip of severe cold wave.
