Summary The Supreme Court will start hearing of suo moto notice of Shahzeb Khan killing.
Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry had taken the suo moto notice of the cold-blooded murder of the 20-year-old Shahzeb Khan, son of DSP Aurangzeb on January 1, after going through the clippings in various newspapers.
The CJ also summoned Advocate General and Inspector General Sindh on January 4 in personal capacity.
Shahzeb was gunned down a week ago by some influential people. According to media reports, police was not taking any action against killers due to political pressure.
Meanwhile, Sindh Governor Dr Ishrat-ul-Ebad Khan and Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah asked police to arrest the murderers of Shahzaib Khan as soon as possible.
