Daylight saving ends at midnight of October 31

The clocks across the country would be turned back by an hour from midnight October 31, Ministry of Interior issued notification on Sunday.According to notification of interior ministry clocks would be reversed by one hour at 12am on October 31. The clocks were advanced by an hour at midnight of April 15 in pursuance of daylight saving system. The ministry of Water and Power said 200 mega watts of electricity was saved daily due to the decision and the decision to repeat the practice again next year would be made in accordance with the situation at that time.
