Army Chief General Kayani visits South Waziristan

Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Ashfaq Pervez Kayani on Sunday said the victory in war on terror depended on Waziristan operation.General Kayani visited South Waziristan today and reviewed progress in the ongoing army offensive against Taliban militants. The army chief was briefed on the progress of operation against terrorists. Addressing army soldiers, Gen Kayani praised the soldiers devotion and dedication and said that the success of operation Rah-e-Nijat was very important to win war on terror. He said the strategy adopted by the army and peoples support had led to the dismantling of the terror network. He said the Pak Army soldiers had sacrificed their lives and the nation was proud of them.
