PM approves transfers, postings, promotions

Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani has made large scale transfers and postings. He has approved the transfers, postings and promotions of the following government servants: Ms. Nargis Sethi promoted to grade 22 and would work as Principal Secretary to Prime Minister. Khwaja Shahabudin has been transferred as Secretary Privatization. Ghaffar Soomro posted as Secretary Industries, Inamullah Khan as Secretary Minority Affairs, Zafeer Abbasi will take charge as Secretary tourism, Javed Akhtar posted as Chairman Competition Commission of Pakistan, Khalid Idrees as Secretary Zakat and Ushr. Ms. Neelam Ali as MD OPF. Ms. Batool Qureshi as Chairperson National Tariff Commission, Ahmed Mehmood Zahid as Secretary Inter provincial Coordination Division, Abdul Shafiq as Secretary Special Initiatives, Ghulam Rasool Aphan as Chairman State Engineering Corporation, Gul Ahmed Rind promoted to grade 22, he was working as DG NARA which has been upgraded, Agha Sarwar Qazalbash promoted to grade 22 and would continue working as Secretary Religious Affairs, Anees ul Hasan Moosvi promoted to grade 22 and would continue working as Secretary Sports. Maj. Moeen promoted to grade 22 and would continue working as Secretary Culture. Mansoor Suhail promoted to grade 22 and will take charge as Secretary Information after the expiry of the contract of the present incumbent. Nayar Hussain promoted to grade 22 and posted as Secretary Labour, Sabtain Fazal Haleem will take charge of Secretary EAD, Athar Tashir and Nageebullah Malik promoted to grade 22. Asif Bajwa promoted to grade 22 and posted as Special Secretary Finance. Qamar Zaman posted as Secretary Interior, Imtiaz Qazi as Secretary Social Welfare, Ishtiaq Ahmed Khan as Secretary Election Commission of Pakistan. Shahid Rahid promoted to grade 22 and his current post of MD SMEDA has been upgraded to grade 22. Nasir Khosa promoted to grade 22 as Chief Secretary Balochistan. Javed Iqbal promoted to grade 22 as Chief Secretary NWFP. Javed Mehmood promoted to grade 22 as Chief Secretary Punjab. Sami Saeed promoted to grade 22 and Junaid Iqbal promoted to grade 22 and posted as Secretary Wafaqi Mohtasib. Suhail Ahmed promoted to grade 22 and would continue working as Chairman FBR. Ghulam Ali Pasha promoted to grade 22 and Ahmed Baksh Lehri promoted to grade 22 and will take charge as Secretary Housing and Works after the retirement of the present incumbent. Imtiaz Inayat promoted to grade 22 and would continue as Chairman CDA. The following officers of Police Service of Pakistan are promoted to grade 22 and they would continue on the same posts: Syed Shabir Ahmed, Tariq Khosa, Javed Iqbal, Tariq Saleem Dogar, Javed Noor, Dr. Waseem Kausar in his personal capacity and Khalid Farooq in his personal capacity The following officers of Audit and Accounts Service are promoted to grade 22: Javed Arif, Ayub Tarin, Atif Usman and Ghalibudin who is posted as Secretary Youth Affairs. The following officers of Foreign Service are promoted to grade 22: Khalid Khattak, Haroon Shaukat, Zamir Akram, Jalil Abbas Jilani and Masood Khan.
