CALIFORNIA (Web Desk) – Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra spilled the beans on her first interaction with her husband Nick Jonas during a recent US podcast. The couple, who are now happily married, have been giving fans major relationship goals ever since they tied the knot in December 2018.
Priyanka revealed that Nick had texted her first on Twitter back in 2016, but she was in a relationship at the time and avoided talking to him. The actress, who was 35 at the time, also mentioned that the age difference was a factor in her reluctance to chat with him.
However, things took a turn when Priyanka's previous relationship began to fizzle out, and she started thinking seriously about marriage.
She recalled that Nick had texted her saying, "our mutual friends think that we should meet," but she had instructed him to text her personally since social media teams could read Twitter DMs.
Despite being hesitant at first, Priyanka finally responded to Nick's message after a day. The two finally met at the Oscar awards in 2017 and the Met Gala in May 2018. After several regular meetings, the couple tied the knot in December 2018, and the rest is history.
Priyanka also joked about Nick's maturity, stating that he was a "mentally 75-year-old man who stopped aging at 25." Well, it seems like the couple has found the perfect balance, and their love story continues to inspire their fans.
