Final season of 'Riverdale' to debut in March
(Web Desk) - The CW revealed the debut dates for Riverdale s and Nancy Drew s last seasons. On March 29 at 9 p.m., Riverdale will return for its seventh and last season.
The fourth and last season of Nancy Drew debuts on May 31 at 8 p.m. The series finales of both programmes will run on Wednesday, August 23, with Riverdale airing at 9 p.m. and Nancy Drew at 8 p.m.
Both shows featured modern renditions of the original works. In Riverdale, the Archie gang is depicted as teens involved in murder and extramarital affairs. In new cases, Nancy Drew grew a young detective up.
Time travel is introduced in Riverdale s final season, sending Jughead (Cole Sprouse) back to the 1950s. Jughead is alarmed to learn that Betty (Lili Reinhart), Veronica (Camila Mendes), and Archie (KJ Apa) have already assumed 50s personas.
In her final investigation, Nancy Drew (Kennedy McMann) looks into cases of graveyard dead that either went missing or rose from the grave.
Tunji Kasim, Maddison Jaizani, and Alex Saxon are other cast members of Nancy Drew.
