King Khan finds his Sejals in Ahmedabad
The promotional contest asked all girls called Sejal to submit letters to Shah Rukh Khan.
(Web Desk) - The upcoming Indian film Jab Harry Met Sejal has undertaken a unique promotional campaign in which the Indian super star Shah Rukh Khan will visit Ahmedabad - the city which has the largest number of girls called Sejal , also the name of the female protagonist in his upcoming movie.
The campaign was undertaken keeping in mind the films tagline: ‘What you seek is seeking you" . The contest asked all girls called Sejal to submit letters to Shah Rukh Khan with the Bollywood star then being required to visit the Indian city that had the highest number of Sejals. A source at the film s production house stated, “We initiated a contest led by Shah Rukh that would result in the actor visiting the city that resides majority Sejals.”

In the course of the promotion over 7000 Sejals submitted letters to the Baadshah of Bollywood and eventually Ahmedabad was declared the winner of the campaign. Shah Rukh Khan is supposed to visit the city today to meet the winners of the contest as well as to release the first song from the upcoming film.
In what appears to be a rip off of the Hollywood movie When Harry Met Sally, Jab Harry Met Sejal has drawn vast anticipation in India owing mainly to the casting of two of India s top stars, Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma in the main roles.
The film which is about a Punjabi guy called Harinder Singh Nehra meeting a Gujarati girl named Sejal Parikh is all set to be released on August 4.
