Summary Website apparently copying British news site metro.co.uk reported news, was picked up by local media
LAHORE: (Web Desk) – Hadiqa Kiani has strongly rejected the claims that she was arrested by British police at Heathrow Airport in London for carrying cocaine worth 80,000 pouunds with her. The news website reporting it is a dubious domain apparently copying British news website metro.co.uk and the story was also picked up by local newspaper.
Hadiqa Kiani strongly reacted to the report and said that he was ‘disgusted’ and ‘shocked’. Hadiqa said that she was in Lahore along with her mother and son. She also uploaded a picture of hers on Twitter to repudiate the claim.

The website that had spread the news metro-uk.com said that “She [Hadiq] was taken to a private search room, where the officers found a second bag full of powder. Both tested positive for cocaine”.
Hadiqa said that she could not believe how this fake London news was spread as she was still in Lahore along with her family.
