MUMBAI (Dunya News) – Bollywood actor Salman Khan and producer Karan Johar have stepped in to support Pakistani artists.

According to Indian media, Salman Khan has telephoned Raj Thackeray, the president of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS).

The actor has appealed the president to let ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ and ‘Raees’ release peacefully in India.

The party had earlier gave a 48-hour ultimatum to Pakistani artists to leave their country.

They threatened that Fawad Khan’s next release ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ and Mahira Khan’s ‘Raees’ won’t be released in India.

The party workers also held a protest outside Karan Johar’s house for casting Pakistani actors in his film.
