The warning came after the attack on Brigade Headquarters in Uri Town of Baramulla District.

MUMBAI (Dunya News) – India’s political party Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) has given a 48 hour ultimatum to Pakistani artists to leave their country.

"We give a 48 hour deadline to Pakistani actors and artistes to leave India or MNS will push them out," said Amey Khopkar, MNS Chitrapat Sena president as reported by Deccan Chronicle.

They have also threatened that Mahira Khan and Fawad Khan’s upcoming movies won’t be released in India.

The warning came after the attack on Brigade Headquarters in Uri Town of Baramulla District earlier this month in Indian-held Kashmir that have heightened tensions between the neighbouring countries.

Before this, an Indian journalist wrote an open letter to Khoobsurat-fame Fawad Khan demanding him to quit his showbiz career in Mumbai-based Hindi film industry.

Separately, Mahira Khan, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and other Pakistani artists working in Bollywood have also been asked to return to Pakistan.

Mahira will be seen in Shahrukh Khan’s ‘Raees’ whereas Fawad will star in Karan Johar’s ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’.
