Dera Ismail Khan (Dunya News) - An alleged terrorist, who belonged to a defunct militant outfit, was killed in a joint operation conducted by the counter-terrorism department (CTD) and the police in Dera Ismail Khan, police said on Thursday.
A joint team raided a locality on secret information. Haibat Khan was killed during a crossfire while his accomplices managed to flee.
Khan was wanted by the CTD and police in nine cases of terrorism. He carried Rs6 million head money.
An operation was in progress to trace down the runaway suspects.
