The family of deceased and some local residents staged sit-in on Gopis Road
GHIZER (Dunya News) - A schoolteacher was gunned down by the firing of some unknown assailants in Ghizer district of Gilgit-Baltistan.
The tragic incident took place in Bathreet area of Ghizer where two unidentified assailants opened fire on a schoolteacher. They also took away the motorbike of the deceased.
Police and rescue officials also reached the spot and started collecting the evidence from the crime scene.
The family of deceased and some local residents staged sit-in on Gopis Road.
The traffic remained suspended from Gopis-Yasin to Gilgit as long queues of stranded vehicles were seen in the hilly area.
