CHENABNAGAR (Dunya News) - A robbers’ gang was smashed by the Chenabnagar police in a major crackdown on criminals.
The gang was involved in robberies and murders in various districts.
The head of gang, along with his accomplice, was wanted in more than 20 cases of murder and robbery.
According to the distrcit police officer (DPO), the criminals were absconders and they were involved in robbery and murder cases in several cities. Humayun Khan and Junaid Ramzan were among the arrested criminals.
Police also recovered the stolen goods worth more than Rs1.1 million from the proclaimed offenders.
The raid was conducted by Chenabnagar SHO Umar Farooq and his team. Further investigation is under way and more revelations are being expected by police.
