Rs3 billion to be spent for Primary and Secondary Health Care programme in Punjab

(Web Desk) – Punjab government will spend Rs3 billion for providing essential health facilities to the general public under Primary and Secondary Health Care programme in the current fiscal year 2019-20.

According to Punjab Assembly MPA Muhammad Muneeb Sultan Cheema, Rs1 billion will be spent this year to give the status of established nursing schools to colleges across the province.

He said the provincial government was committed regarding its vision of "providing universal healthcare.”He said primary and secondary healthcare was focused on an efficient and effective service delivery system.
