ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Advisor to Prime Minister on Political Affairs Rana Sanaullah on Wednesday said that members of the coalition partners would play a role in the dialogues with the PTI (Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf).
The representative of the coalition partners would also be part of the committee to be established in a couple of days to initiate dialogue with the PTI, he said while talking to a private news channel.
The talks between the treasury and opposition benches are vital to strengthen political and democratic system, he stated.
He said that the government would keep the establishment on board while holding talks with the PTI. Moreover, the "talks with the PTI will be subject to approval of the party chief Nawaz Sharif," he added.
Similarly, “the PTI's stance will be subject to the approval of the party founder,” he continued
Replying to a question, he said that Speaker Ayaz Sadiq would play an important role in the dialogue. There must be discussion with political parties for charter of democracy and charter of economy, he said and added the government is focusing on improving lifestyle of the common man.
It is also the responsibility of all political groups to work for the economic development of Pakistan, he stated.
It may be recalled that Imran Khan had formed a five-member committee for dialogues with the PML-N-led government which comprises Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Omar Ayub, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC) chief Sahibzada Hamid Raza, Salman Akram Raja and former speaker Asad Qaiser.
