Eight injured as unknown assailants attack cop's residence in N Waziristan

NORTH WAZIRISTAN (Dunya News) – At least eight people were injured when unidentified assailants attacked the residence of a police official in Ghulam Khan Tehsil near Pak-Afghan border on early Sunday.
Police said gunmen attacked the ASI’s residence at 4am, targeting the official and his family. After the firing when the injured were being taken to a hospital for treatment, a blast took place in the vehicle in which at least eight people were injured including ASI Aminullah and two women.
Three among the injured were said to be in a critical condition.
Officials added that the injured have been shifted to a hospital and an investigation has been launched into the incident.
