KARACHI (Dunya News) – Chairman Joint Action Committee of Pakistan International Airline (PIA)  Sohail Baloch while speaking to a press conference on Sunday said that they stand firm on the decision to halt flight operations from February 2, reported Dunya News.

According to the details, Baloch said that they have given the PIA administration tomorrow’s (Monday) deadline to resolve the issue. He said that if the Chiarman of Privatisation Commission does not listen to Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif then what can we tell the employees.

Baloch asked if the PM can appoint a minister like Saad Rafique for Pakistan Railways then why cannot he do the same for PIA. He told that they are ready for everything from arrests to baton charge but they will not turn back from their demands.

Joint Action Committee have been staging protests in various cities including Lahore, Karachi, Multan and Quetta since January 26 against passing the bill of PIA privatization in National Assembly.
