Ranipur tragedy: Martyrs, CM Sindh's former advisor laid to rest
Funeral prayers of 8 martyrs were offered in Sanghar; shutter down observed upon PML-F's appeal
KHAIRPUR: (Dunya News) – Martyrs of Ranipur tragedy including former Advisor to Chief Minister Sindh have on Sunday been laid to rest. Funeral prayers of 8 of the martyrs were offered in Sanghar. Shutter-down strike was observed in Sanghar, Umar Kot, Pingriyo and Pir Jo Goth on Pakistan Muslim League – Functional’s (PML-F) appeal, reported Dunya News.
A clash between PML-F and the ruling Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) supporters cost 11 lives on Saturday. PML-F leader, and former Advisor to CM Sindh, Faqeer Noor Hassan Khaskheli also died.
Funeral prayers of 8 of the martyrs were offered in Sanghar. There were tears in every eye on this occasion. All of the martyrs were laid to rest after the funeral prayers. Funeral prayers of 4 other PML-F workers were offered in Khadro while those of 2 were offered in Khaproo.
Shutter down strike was observed in Sanghar, Umar Kot, Pingriyo and Pir Jo Goth on PML-F’s appeal and PML-F leaders organized Quran Khawanis for the martyrs.
