Info Minister says principles can't be sacrificed, meeting Hurriyet leaders Pakistans tradition

ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Senator Pervaiz Rashid has on Friday said that Pakistan wants talks with India but restrictions are not acceptable. He said that principles cannot be sacrificed. “Meeting Hurriyet leaders is Pakistan’s tradition”, he said, reported Dunya News.

Reacting strongly to lame Indian excuses on meeting Hurriyet leaders during Pakistan-India Foreign Advisors meeting, Pervaiz Rashid said that the advice by the Indian government to not to meet Hurriyet leaders is unacceptable. He said that India is violating human rights and is looking for excuses to call off the talks. “Why is India afraid of our hospitality”, questioned Rashid.

The federal minister said that Pakistan wants to settle all the outstanding issues through talks but India is trying to pull out of the game. He said that the ball of the talks is now in Indian court. “Pakistan never called off the talks but principles cannot be sacrificed. If India tries to postpone the talks then the world will be watching”, said Rashid.
