Sheikh Rasheed demands dissolution of national and provincial assemblies

SUKKUR/MULTAN/DERA ISMAIL KHAN/PESHAWAR: (Dunya News) – Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Khurshid Shah has said that the loyalty of Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan with the Prime Minister is doubtful in his eyes. He accused Chaudhry Nisar of spoiling the matters with his statements and actions.

While talking to the media after offering Eid prayer in Sukkur, Khurshid Shah said that Chaudhry Nisar gets stuck in words and spoils the political situation as a result.

Khurshid Shah said that stopping Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan from holding protest would be an undemocratic act. Khurshid Shah once again criticized the government for imposing Article 245 in Islamabad.

Former Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gillani also talked to media after offering Eid prayer in Multan. He said that government should not call Army in Islamabad. He advised the government to resolve the matters with political wisdom and dialogue.

On the other hand, Awami Muslim League (AML) Head Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad has demanded dissolution of the national and provincial assemblies. MNA from NA 55 Rawalpindi said that governments should bow down to public demands instead of taking a tough stance. Sheikh Rasheed offered Eid prayer in Dera Ismail Khan.

Seasoned politician and head of Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam (F) Maulana Fazal ur Rehman said that problems cannot be solved by the use of power. He criticized Imran Khan and media saying that Imran Khan’s political stature is due to media only.

Talking to the media, Governor Khyber Pakhtunkahawa (KPK) Sardar Mehtab Abbasi said that political parties should fight their cases in parliament and courts instead of fighting them on roads.
