Pakistan People's Party does not support the demand for vote recount: Syed Khursheed Shah

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) -- Opposition leader Syed Khurshid Shah said in a media conference on Sunday that Pakistan People s Party does not support the demand for vote recount, Dunya News reported.
Amin Fahim, said that a recount in four constituencies would make no difference. The situation in Pakistan is not feasible for mid-term elections.

Speaking to media, Khursheed Shah said that the government shouldn’t bar protests and long march. Pakistan People’s Party doesn’t support the PTI’s demand for vote recount in four constituencies. He further remarked that since Pakistan has accepted existence of terrorists in the country, so USA will continue with the drone attacks.

On the other hand, Makhdoom Amin Fahim, senior vice chairperson of Pakistan People’s Party, while talking to the media said that it’s not possible for the opposition to be on the same page in the current circumstances. The reaction to protests by opposition will not deem a good result.
He said that though he is not satisfied with the performance of current government, he wants sustainability of democratic process in the country.
