Rape incidents increased by four percent in Indian capital
Women and children rape cases in the country are escalating continuously.
DELHI (Dunya News / Web Desk) – Rape cases in India’s capital New Delhi has increased further by four percent, reveals the country’s National Crime Records Bureau data for 2015.
According to the report, Delhi and Patna are the top two crime cities.

Delhi called as the rape capital witnessed a record four percent increase in rape cases of women.
Maharashtra which is the stronghold of extremist party Shiv Sena was on the top of list in rape incidents.
Overall atleast 34,500 rape cases and more than 32,000 murder cases have been surfaced in India in 2015.
Moreover, an alarming increase in the crimes against children has also occurred in the past year.
The new data all but establish Delhi as the country’s crime capital; the rate of cognisable crime under Indian Penal Code charges, which grew by only a few percentage points for the country as a whole, nearly doubled for Delhi, to 856 per lac population.
