PM Nawaz meets COAS Bajwa to discuss border situation
Nawaz Sharif held talks with Gen Qamar Bajwa on security circumstances nationwide
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif met the Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Wednesday to discuss security circumstances and situation of borders.
COAS Bajwa briefed the Prime Minister on progress of Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad. Nawaz Sharif expressed satisfaction on the achievements brought of the operation against terrorism.
Also, PM Nawaz praised the valour as well as sacrifices made by the brave soldiers of Pakistan Army.
On the other hand, An investiture ceremony was held at General Headquarters (GHQ) Rawalpindi today. General Qamar Javed Bajwa conferred military awards to army personnel for acts of gallantry during operations.
