Chinese team arrives in Lahore for PACES championship
1st international PACES Competition will be held in Lahore, Pakistan from 18th to 22nd Oct 2016.
LAHORE (Web Desk / APP) - A 26-member Chinese team arrived at the Allama Iqbal International Airport, Lahore on Thursday to take part in the 1st International Physical Agility and Combat Efficiency System (PACES) competition being held from October 18 23 in Punjab provincial metropolis.
The Chinese squad consisting of officers and soldiers from People’s Liberation Army received a warm welcome by army officials of the host country, says a press release issued by ISPR.
It is pertinent to mention that International PACES is the first ever mega sports event to be competed by over 270 participants from armies of 16 countries including Pakistan.
Military physical fitness involves ability to physically handle all aspects of demanding mission while remaining healthy and uninjured. PACES competition invokes enthusiasm, passion, the spark to win and to excel beyond expectations.
