Country running on loans and charity whereas debts increasing with every passing day, says Khan
JHELUM (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan stated on Wednesday that Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif was not responding to the allegations leveled against him through the Panama Papers even after five months of the surfacing of the issue, adding that the decisive phase of the country’s history had arrived, reported Dunya News.
While addressing a public gathering, Khan stated that Pakistan was progressing rapidly at a time and that leaders of different countries wanted to enquire about the secret behind the country’s success. PTI Chairman said that the youth were the future of the country.
He stated that the decisive period of the country’s history had arrived and that it shall be determined soon that in which direction will the country head towards. He added that the party shall head towards Lahore on September 3.
Khan said that the country was progressing through the money sent by Pakistani nationals present abroad, further adding that it was really heartbreaking to witness the country heading backwards.
PTI Chairman stated that every Pakistani was indebted Rs 120,000 and that the debts were increasing with every passing day. He added that the country was being run on loans and charity. Khan said that a number of Pakistani nationals in Saudi Arabia were unemployed.
Imran Khan said that the Panama Leaks was an opportunity given by God to change the country’s fate, further stating that if we took control over our fate then the country shall become mighty. He said that corruption had caused immense damage to Pakistan and had destroyed the country’s institutions.
