Pakistan wants to solve Kashmir issue by dialogue: Tariq Fatimi

Fatimi said that Indian would also have to show seriousness as they will keep supporting Kashmir

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister’s advisor for foreign affairs Tariq Fatimi said on Friday that Pakistan wants to solve Kashmir issue by dialogue as they do not want bad relations with India, reported Dunya News.

Fatimi said that India is a growing economic power and Pakistan wants good relation with India, but it cannot be one-sided. He was talking in Dunya TV’s program “Dunya Kamran Khan ke Saath” as he said that they want to discuss every issue. Pakistan is not hesitant to talk about terrorism. Fatimi said that they want to discuss Kashmir issue as their position is strong on that and they will highlight the issue on all platforms.

He also said that they will support Kashmir on political, diplomatic and ethical grounds. He said that they also want better relations with Afghanistan and do not civil war like Afghanistan in Pakistan. He said that Afghan border management would be beneficial for both countries but talks are being delayed due to Afghanistan’s internal political situation.
