PPP announces new Sindh CM along with Cabinet

Khurram Dastgir also said that peace in Karachi was in Pakistans national interest

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leadership held a meeting on Sunday in Dubai regarding Rangers’ extension for policing powers and their presence in the province while Federal Minister Khurram Dastgir said that issue of Rangers’ powers will be resolved in a day or two, reported Dunya News.

On one side Sindh government had been observing a strategy of ‘give and take’ whereas federal government wanted to solve the issue in no time.

Khurram Dastgir also said that peace in Karachi was in Pakistan’s national interest. Not to forget that PPP did not put forth their stance in this regard.

On the other hand, there was news that PPP session in Dubai had decided to change Sindh CM along with the cabinet. There were speculations that next Sindh CM would likely be Syed Murad Ali Shah. Ministers would also be changed along with CM. Murad Ali Shah had been offering his services as Sindh Finance Minister. He did Master in engineering in 1993 from an American university namely Stanford University. The directions will be implemented in accordance with PPP Chairman Bilawali Bhutto s arrival in Karachi.
