Pakistani leadership did not respond well to the Kashmir issue, says Javed Hashmi

MULTAN (Dunya News) – Senior politician Makhdoom Javed Hashmi has stated that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has the resignation of Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif in his fist, adding that if the Opposition parties resign today then the government shall dissolve by evening, reported Dunya News.

While addressing to the media at his residence, Hashmi stated that if Imran Khan was in a hurry to attain leadership, his party should abandon its rule from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and from the federal government, adding that Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) should withdraw its rule from Sindh which shall ultimately result to the dissolution of Nawaz Sharif’s government.

He said that PTI chief will not however abandon his rule in KP as Chief Minister (CM) Pervaiz Khattak along with the Ministers of Provincial Assembly (MPAs) and the Ministers of National Assembly (MNAs) do not listen to him.

He added that there were no crises in the country but Imran Khan created crises to destroy democracy. “The purpose of creating chaos in the country was to invite another force to take over,” he said, adding that “some jokers joined hands to put the country in trouble”.

Hashmi termed Awami Muslim League (AML) leader Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed as ‘Sheikhu Jantri Wala’ and said that Sheikh Rasheed gave a period of 100 days for the dissolution of the government after every few days.

Javed Hashmir further stated that the Pakistani leadership did not respond well enough to the situation in Kashmir, further stating that the Pakistani High Commissioner in India should have been called back to the country as a sign of protest.

“If the (Pakistani) ambassador is not called back, the public shall consider that Pakistan values maintaining ties with India over the Kashmir issue,” Hashmi said.
