World should respect desires of Kashmiris: General Raheel
International community should play its role to establish peace in Kashmir, says COAS
RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif on Wednesday led the Corps commanders’ conference. Brutality of the Indian forces upon the people of occupied Kashmir was condemned during the conference whereas the Army chief stated that the entire world needs to respect the will of the Kashmiri people, reported Dunya News.
General Raheel stated that the international community needs to play its part in order to establish peace in the occupied valley.
Internal security of the country was also overviewed during the meeting. General Raheel lauded the role played by the institutions in order to ensure peace during the festival of Eid-ul-Fitr.
Situation of Afghanistan was also overviewed during the Corps commanders’ meeting.
