LAHORE (Dunya News) - Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan has said that Lahore has proved it is PTI s stronghold. “We organized world’s longest sit-in for justice but we did not get it, the only way left for us was to protest and lead rallies. Government forced us to take the route of protest to save this country. We want to see transparent election in this country which never happened after 1970”, said Imran Khan while addressing PTI’s rally at Charing Cross Lahore.
Addressing the protest, Imran Khan said that Election 2013 was the greatest fraud in Pakistan s history. Participation of Lahore residents today proved that Pakistan Muslim League - Nawaz (PML-N) won by rigging.
“If government doesn’t want to see us on roads, they should sit on the dialogue table. It will take only 48 hours to make judicial commission. We want to throw away not only Nawaz Sharif but this entire corrupt system”, said Imran.
He said that the people have realized their rights and entire nation wants justice. “No democratic country let their leaders to have assets in foreign countries. We are here to make Nawaz Sharif and Asif Zardari answer for their wealth”, he added.
“Rana Sanaullah and his people are responsible for the death of Haq Nawaz, who died for justice. We will not go back without getting justice; our next plan is ready if we fail here” he said.
He thanked people of Lahore for coming out and supporting PTI. He also thanked journalists but criticised Mir Shakeelur Rehman and said he should not act like “PMLN’s media cell”.
