PTI 'Plan C' disrupts Lahore, protestors stage sit-ins at 28 sites
PTI workers have staged massive protests in Lahore today under 'Plan C'.
Lahore (Web Desk) - Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) workers have shut down major roads in the eastern city of Lahore on Monday in the latest round of protests against the government.
Dozens of supporters from Imran Khan s party gathered at different junctions of the city s major roads and burnt tyres, forcing the suspension of public transport services.

Key locations including Mall Road, Chungi Amar Sadhu, Gulberg, Liberty Chowk, Defense Morr, Yateem Khana Chowk, Bhatta Chowk and Shahdara Chowk have been completely blocked by the protestors.
Clashes were reported at some places near Bhatti Chowk and Shah Aalam Market. An agitated motorcyclist ran over a PTI supporter near GPO Chowk.
Government offices, public schools, and banks were open but many private businesses and shops were shut.
Shahdara Morr, Lahore`s entry point, has been completely blocked by PTI supporters. Provincial Health Minister Khwaja Salman Rafique claimed that an ambulance got stuck in the rush due to which a 15-year-old boy from Shahdara passed away.
Another 17-day-old girl from Gujranwala died when her parents were trying to shift her to Children Hospital.
The planned closure - dubbed `Plan C` - is a continuation of PTI chairman Imran Khan`s push to pressure the government into carrying out an inquiry into alleged rigging in the May 2013 general election.
Talking to Dunya News, PTI chief Imran Khan vowed that he would end protests if the government announces formation of judicial commission within next 48 hours to probe alleged rigging in 2013 general elections.
A heavy police presence is on the streets to try to prevent violence, following clashes at a similar protest in the city of Faisalabad last week.
"A contingent of 15,000 police personnel have been deployed in the city to avoid any untoward incident," senior police official Haider Ashraf said.
Earlier today, Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif said the provincial government would maintain law and order at all costs in Lahore today.
He said the government will fulfill its responsibilities to protect lives and assets of the masses in any way.
