KARACHI (Dunya News) – Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has decided to contact all the parties in the opposition ? on Monday? owning to the current political situation in the country, Dunya News reported. Party’s co-chairman, Asif Ali Zardari will be contacting the opposition parties himself.
In the current political situation, PPP will reach out to the heads of all the opposition parties. In fact, Asif Ali Zardari will contact them himself. While speaking to the heads of all opposition parties, Zardari will be discussing the current political situation and will consequently take important decisions. The communication with different parties will begin today evening.
Yesterday, the opposition leader Khursheed Shah announced an end to PPP’s role as a friendly opposition in the Parliament.
Shah criticized the government for the decision to deploy army in the federal capital based on Article 245. According to him, the Parliament and the political parties should have been taken into confidence before taking an important decision like that. He feared that the democratic process might be halted if the prevailing political situation continues and the Prime Minister doesn’t open a dialogue with other political forces.
