Jahangir Badar warns PML-N of anarchy if long march impeded
PML-N has become politically isolated: Jahangir Badar
Lahore (Dunya News) – Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Jahangir Badar said in a statement that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has become politically isolated, adding that if the opposition’s long march is impeded in any way then demands will go way beyond mere mid-term elections.
While addressing press in Lahore, Jahangir Badar said that the nation’s political situation is heating up, adding that firstly the demands for the recounting of four constituencies were not met, which led to further demands for mid-term elections. He added that if the government uses its politcal power to stop the long march on 14th August then demands will go way beyond mid-term elections.
Badar said that the political situation is heating up in the country while PML-N is losing its political allies so it will be a bad decision to bring the Army to a public procession at D-Chowk on the occasion of Independence Day.
Earlier in a statement, former President Asif Ali Zardari said that Nawaz Shareef should accept the demands for recounting of the four constituencies and should not rule like a monarch.
