Dilwale producer Karim Morani surrenders before police in rape case
Morani is a friend of Shah Rukh Khan who worked with him in Chennai Express and Ra One
(Web Desk) – Bollywood producer who worked in the ventures like Dilwale and Chennai Express has surrendered before Indian police in relation to the accusations against him in rape case.
A 25-year-old girl has filed a case against Morani, accusing him of rape and molestation on promise of marriage. Arrest warrant had been issued against Morani and the apex court denied his bail later on.
Morani is accused of raping the girl multiple times on the promise of marriage. He has allegedly violted the sections 417, 376, 342, 506 and 493 of the Indian Penal Code.
He is currently under arrest. The girl also claimed that Morani has kept on blackmailing her for having her nude pictures and videos in his mobile phone. He had invited the Delhi-based girl in a hotel. The girl works as a theatre artiste in her hometown.

The alleged victim filed allegations of cheating, rape, wrongful confinement, criminal intimidation and cohabitation caused by a man deceitfully inducing a belief of lawful marriage.
Morani is considered as a business associate of Shah Rukh Khan. He has worked on films including Chennai Express, Ra One, Dilwale and others. He had arranged numerous international tours of the B-Town celebs.
