Channel may not renew contract of The Kapil Sharma Show
After fight between Kapil Sharma and Sunil Grover, situation further declines for the comedy show
(Web Desk) – Reportedly, the channel Sony TV has decided not to renew the contract of “The Kapil Sharma Show” after the fight between Kapil Sharma and Sunil Grover. The decision appears to be taken after the ugly fight between costars on the plane.
Indian media claimed that a deal worth Rs 106 crore would have been offered for the contract renewal, however, the channel recently considered to pull out the comedy show. Meanwhile, the comedy star Kapil has remained busy in shooting for his latest movie “Firangi”.
Reports claimed that it would now be difficult to bring the team back together for the super hit show. Sunil is said to be still upset with Kapil and rest of the team after the unfortunate incident.
Kapil Sharma hires new team after Sunil Grover, others exit
It was earlier reported that Sunil didn t show up for the shooting of latest episodes. Other costars including Ali Asgar and Chandan Prabhakar also decided to skip shooting of The Kapil Sharma Show in wake of the fight. On the other hand, Kapil wasn’t impressed by the loss of support and arranged alternative comedians to proceed with the shooting.
