LAHORE (Web Desk) – Hindi cinema actor Shahid Kapoor’s wedding invitation card has come in light. Kapoor will enter wedlock with Mira Rajput on July 7.
Apparently, Rajput was "discovered" by Kapoor s father after he took a trip to Punjab for the sole purpose of findind a potential bride for his son.
Kapoor’s ex-love interest, now Kareen Kapoor Khan revealed earlier in an interview that Shahid had given her the news much before the media speculation. She said that Kapoor told her about his marriage in a function backstage.
Pankaj Kapoor’s son has survived a series of flops in his career. Critics say that Kapoor’s dance and hit songs kept him going in the rather cruel industry that does not wait for anyone in the run.
‘Kaminey’ star’s songs remained hit though his movies flopped. However, Vishal Bhardwaj guarantees cult performances in his cinema irrespective of the box office figures. That seemed to be the case behind Kapoor’s rather positive turn in career after he did ‘Haider’, based on ‘Hamlet’.
Kapoor s earlier link-ups inlcude Priyanka Chopra. At a time the two stars used to live on same floor and their apartments were opposite to eachother. The media, initially considered it fodder for the news. However, the two were spotted going in a restaurant for dinner after which the speculations went through the roof. Both the lead actors denied being a couple until the news was finally dropped.
