Nasir Jamshed and bookie arrested, released on bail in UK
National Crime Agency of UK arrested former Pakistan opener for fixing investigation
LAHORE (Dunya News) – English media reported on Tuesday that former Pakistan batsman Nasir Jamshed and bookie Yousaf were arrested by National Crime Agency in UK. Both were released on bail till April, 2007.
The arrests were made to investigate cricket corruption in Pakistan Super League (PSL). Both were interrogated with respect to fixing and their involvement in the case. They were taken into custody during February 13 and released after prolonged interviews.

Najam Sethi revealed via Twitter earlier that Nasir Jamshed had been provisionally suspended from all cricket formats by Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). Moreover, National Bank has also dismissed the player from employment.
Earlier, Khalid Latif and Sharjeel Khan were suspended by PCB Anti-Corruption Unit (ACU) for being involved in cricket corruption.
