Russia condemns US interference in Iran, calling Washington’s military threats unacceptable and urging diplomatic solutions.
MOSCOW (Shahid Ghumman) – Russia has issued a strong condemnation of US interference in Iran’s internal affairs, calling Washington’s threats and warnings “unacceptable”.
Speaking on the current situation in Iran, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova stated that Moscow does not tolerate any external involvement or destructive influence in the country’s domestic political matters. She emphasised that repeated threats of military action from Washington are wholly unacceptable.
Zakharova highlighted that any new potential US military threats against the Islamic Republic of Iran pose a serious risk not only to regional stability but also violate international law.
The spokesperson stressed that Iran’s situation must be addressed through balanced and neutral diplomatic channels. Zakharova urged all countries, including the United States, to support political solutions rather than exacerbating tensions in the region.
